In the last few years, there has been significant hype in the press about the first Monday after Thanksgiving coined "Cyber Monday." Cyber Monday is often thought to be the biggest online shopping day of the year. While Cyber Monday is an extremely popular day to shop online, it's certainly not the best day for most online sellers. Nexternal Solutions, a leading provider of ecommerce software, reported that the second Monday in December (the 11th) proved again to be the most popular day to make purchases online. The aggregate order volume (measured in number of orders) was 61% higher on Monday December 11th than on Monday, November 27th on Nexternal's platform. Atlanta's 6th Annual Walk from Obesity Aims to Save Lives and Fight for a Better Future

Help us walk from obesity and towards a better future on Saturday, September 26, 2009 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Piedmont Park! Every year the Walk from Obesity raises money through Walk sponsorship and donations to further their mission to bring together all who are affected by obesity and to draw national attention to the need for awareness, treatment, and advocacy initiatives. This year, the Walk will be hosted by Dr. J.K. (Ken) Champion, head of the Videoscopic Institute – a Marietta and Atlanta bariatric surgery practice. Other local and national volunteers participating in the Walk event include patients, obesity specialists, nurses, community workers, healthcare professionals, the healthcare industry, concerned citizens, and many more.
